My latest purchase was a desperately needed pair of leggings, kind of like long johns. Our winter has been pretty cold and I had simply worn out the pair I had, which had actually been purchased in Korea. The first pair were an actual size (granted, the largest size I could find since I am so much bigger than Korean women).
This time, however, I couldn't seem to find anything that had sizes that weren't more than I wanted to pay. So my choices were men's leggings or "free size." A little worried that the men's pair would have extra room in places I didn't need extra room, I went for the "free size" thinking surely since there were no toes in them I could make them work.
NOT. I couldn't even get the things on. I had flashbacks of this hilarious experience I had as a kid. You may not think it so funny, but maybe a few of you will get a chuckle. I was in a dance recital and all I remember is that my full body leotard (ACK!) was not going on like it should and the crotch was down around my knees. It worked out in the end, I guess, but I wonder if it's the same dance outfit that ended up needing a few stitches before we headed out on stage! (A little something like this but purple with gold sequins and UGLIER, sorry Miss Tami!)

So, that's my story. I guess it's more of a gripe, but I thought it was another one of those funny things about living in Asia. I'll try to be more creative next time and bring you some more BABY pictures soon!!!
